The Scheduled for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia for School-Aged Children (K-SADS) is the most widely used and well validated semi-structured psychiatric diagnostic interview for children and adolescents.
The K-SADS was translated into Dutch by child and adolescent psychiatrists Manon Hillegers and Catrien Reichart. This translation was used to develop the Dutch version of the KSADS-COMP, developed in cooperation with Joan Kaufman by a team of the department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry/Psychology of Erasmus MC-Sophia.
Joan Kaufman is one of principal authors of the original K-SADS of which more than thirty translations have been made. Kenneth Kobak, Alison Deep, and she developed the paper-and-pencil version into the web application KSADS-COMP.
